SOME OF MY PROJECTS
johnstone's decorating centre
For my project with Johnstone's Decorating Centre, I was tasked with creating four Point of Sale posters for their new products. These posters are designed to be eye catching and informative to help market and advertise the latest products of their premium line and have been used across the country.
Gazillion
Gazillion is a brand identity concept for a new mobile banking app. Creating a strong formal approach to the design that is easy to read with custom typography.
Artistic Designs
An exploration with photo manipluation of photoshop. I was heavily inspired by other graphic designers to create concepts that had meaning to me.
bookmark
As a big reader I go through a lot of bookmarks. I began making a couple to make up for my constant misplacement and ended up creating a themed one based off the cover art of a book I fell in love with.
cut throat pete's
A concept for a mobile barber based off a real life shop. Inspired by the lockdown we all experienced, I wanted to create a brand identity for a barber who would travel to those who could not leave home.
the recyclables
A project I led a group in making at during my degree. The recyclables is a TV series advert created with the aim of translating the idea of recycling into a narrative fit for children.
special effects
During my degree I wanted to experiment with taking difficult, natural concepts and giving them life to make them feel real in a digital space.
body movement animation
Studying the idea of a body and it's motion. I wanted to create a simple, yet effective way of communicating complicated movements with a simple character.
recycled character
When creating the recyclables I aimed to create a character who embodied the idea of recycling, creating a body from various items I have recycled myself in my lifetime.
gangster
Creating a narrative based around the film noir period was an interesting challenge. Trying to manipulate shades of grey to give the idea of colour taught me a lot about colour theory.
showreel
A showreel of some of my best animation work. Showing off the variation of skills from writing, directing and animating a variety of narratives.
